Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 soundtrack co-launches with Black Ops 2
With Activision’s Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 launching on November 13th, the industry juggernaut figured that releasing the soundtrack for the shooter on the same day is a pretty good idea!
The soundtrack is composed by Jack Wall, with The Social Network and The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo composer Trent Reznor providing a theme. In a press release, Wall states that “the story surrounding the single player campaign was of paramount importance to the developers at Treyarch. I wanted to do my part to give that story as much emotional depth as I could with the music. I think the fans will really appreciate how deep the story is in Call of Duty: Black Ops II.”
The soundtrack will feature more than 40 tracks, and it will be available for purchase through iTunes and “select digital marketplaces” for $11.99. However, if you purchase the Hardened or Care Package Edition of Black Ops 2, the soundtrack is already included. Check the press release below.
