“No More Shepard” For Next Mass Effect

After speaking with BioWare Montreal producer Fabrice Condominas, gaming site VG247 has shed some light on the fact that gamers can expect Shepard’s story to officially end with Mass Effect 3.

“There will be no more Shepard, and the trilogy is over,” said Condominas of the series, adding later that he and his team “don’t want to make ‘Shepard 2’ or ‘Mass Effect 4′.”

And while the trilogy might be officially ending, Condominas hinted that exploration of the Mass Effect universe is far from over when he called this opportunity a “starting point” and cited the fact that the series has created a very deep and vast universe of lore to explore.
