First group of approved Steam Greenlight games announced

Ah, the first graduates. Almost brings a fake tear to my eyes. Valve recently announced the first group of games to be approved through Steam Greenlight, and they are:

  • Black Mesa
  • Cry of Fear
  • Dream
  • Heroes & Generals
  • Kenshi
  • McPixel
  • No More Room in Hell
  • Project Zomboid
  • Routine
  • Towns

Some of these games are actually finished, so you can download them from Steam right now, though you can also find all these games in the Greenlit section. A few of these games are actually free downloads, so go check them out right now, if you can. I’m going to make a personal plea for readers to check out Cry of Fear. It’s, by far, one of the most intricately-made mods I’ve ever played, and it’s pretty scary, too. I will definitely wait for Black Mesa, though. It has been years in the making, and I can’t wait to check out the finished product.
