EA to donate $1 million+ to veterans’ charities
In conjunction with the upcoming movie Zero Dark Thirty, which is directed by Kathryn Bigelow (The Hurt Locker), EA has announced that sales of the upcoming Medal of Honor Warfighter Zero Dark Thirty Map Pack will go to veterans’ charities through Project HONOR. Through Project HONOR, EA hopes to donate at least $1 million to these veterans’ charities.
For each Zero Dark Thirty Map Pack sold, EA will donate $1, with the actual map pack available the week of December 17th. It contains two multiplayer maps: Darra Gun Market and Chitral. These maps are based on real-world locations, but sadly, that’s about all the map pack contains.
Medal of Honor: Warfighter will be available on October 23rd for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC. If you want to read the press release, it’s below for your reading pleasure.
