Legend of Zelda for Wii U due in 2014?
We all know Nintendo will release a Zelda game for its Wii U console. Much like bacon’s deliciousness and the necessity of oxygen, that’s just a fact of life. What we don’t know, however, is exactly when it will be released. According to a Wii U Daily source, the answer may be sometime in 2014.
According to the source. development for the Wii U Zelda game started in 2010, with Eiji Aonuma once again becoming the head of the project. Originally, the game was slated for a 2013 release, though the release date possibly changed due to the amazing scale of the game. Based on information from this unknown source, a test dungeon was larger than Hyrule Field in Ocarina of Time. Damn. Other than MiiUniverse functionality, the new Zelda will not have any multiplayer component, as typical of standard Zelda affairs.
