Fox Engine could be used for other Konami games
Designer Hideo Kojima went further in depth about the Fox Engine, which will be used to power Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes. Discussing how flexible the Fox Engine is, Kojima stated that “the thing is, once we get the Fox engine moving as we do now. You can make an FPS, you can make an Uncharted, etc. But what I wanted to do is make an open-world game, and that’s what I’m doing now.”
Interestingly enough, Kojima did not deny the use of the Fox Engine for other Konami games. He even went ahead and listed Silent Hill as an example. A Silent Hill game running on the Fox Engine? I like that very much.
