Half-Life 3 And Dragon Age 3 At Gamescom?

SECOND UPDATE:  Eurogamer reports Half-Life 3 and Dragon Age 3 listings were “a mistake”.

UPDATE: According to Lamda Generation gamescom representatives have confirmed that the list is entirely legitimate.

ORIGINAL STORY: Over on gamescom’s official website is a list of titles expected to be shown at the annual German event.

However there is a disclaimer translated on NeoGaf which reads:

” ‘Expected announcements gamescom 2012′
*Please take note of the sources: exhibitors, media, intenet forums, blogs.
*no responsibility is taken for the correctness of this information.

Nevertheless the next issue of Game Informer has been delayed by a day for a major announcement set to be made at the show. Valve have also been quite supportive of gamescom in the past – the conference has a strong PC gaming presence each year.

Nothing may come of this however Half-Life 3 (or Half-Life 2: Episode 3) artwork – which appears to be legitimate – was leaked online several months ago and there has been speculation with regard to the Source 2 engine the company appears to be developing.

Dragon Age 3 meanwhile may have seen it’s plot and protagonist leaked on the BioWare social forum. We may see an announcement at EA’s press conference – which can be watched here – at 3pm CET (7am-8am PDT) today.
