CBS Films Signs Deus Ex Movie Based on Human Revolution

Coming off the news of Michael Fassbender being cast in the upcoming Assassin’s Creed movie, CBS Films has announced that they have signed for and plan to produce a Deus Ex film based on the 2011 hit Human Revolution.

The studio will work closely with Human Revolution developer Eidos Montreal throughout production of the film. Square Enix Europe President and CEO Phil Rogers had this to say of the new development: “We’re firm believers in building strong partnerships, and so we’re thrilled to be working with CBS Films on bringing the unique Deus Ex experience to the big-screen.”

There aren’t many details known outside of this, other than a handful of producers and some names of the folks overseeing the project.

The biggest question, of course: Who will play the game’s grizzled protagonist Adam Jensen?
