Sega Closes European Offices
Under the explanation of “restructuring,” Sega has closed their offices in France Germany, Spain, Australia, and Benelux.
The company cited the closings as part of “a new and exciting phase that will position the company as a content led organization,” adding that they hope to maximize on sales with IPs such as Sonic the Hedgehog and Total War. This is all a part of Sega’s attempt to re-focus the company as they try to recover from their financial woes.
Leviathyn extends well wishes to those individuals who lost jobs in the restructuring efforts.
