THQ under investigation over uDraw

Already in financial troubles and having sold the rights of its UFC franchise to EA, THQ is once again under the microscope. This time, it’s over the uDraw.

An investigation is being held by Holzer Holzer & Fistel, a Georgia law firm, as to whether THQ purposely held back information from investors related to the lowered demand for the uDraw. Specifically, the firm believes that THQ made “false and misleading” statements about the uDraw’s progress. Over time, demand grew stagnant for the tablet, with THQ eventually discontinuing production of the uDraw in February.

If THQ is found to have exactly done these accusations, the company could be violating federal securities laws. It’s a good time to be working at THQ, isn’t it?
