Nintendo contemplating on next-generation handheld

Nintendo already thinking about a next-generation handheld? Excellent!

According to Shigeru Miyamoto, “What we’re thinking about right now is probably going to be for a future generation of handheld. I really feel like I’m satisfied with the 3DS hardware as it is. I feel like it’s the best for this generation.”

I wouldn’t really call it the best, but it is a damn good handheld right now. Still, what’s interesting about this little quip from Miyamoto is one can interpret this as saying that there won’t be a 3DS revision, after all, à la a 3DS “Lite.” Only time will tell what the meaning of those words becomes.
