Nintendo Still Hasn’t Announced The Specs for the Processor and Graphics Card in the Wii U
Following their E3 press conference, Nintendo updated the specs page for the Wii U. Noticeably still missing is any real specs for the GPU and CPU inside of the new console. All we are getting is “IBM Powered multi-core” and “AMD Radeon-based high definition”.
This could be fleshed out before or around Tokyo Games Show, which is most likely where we will see the final, retail-ready console and launch plans. However, they could keep it a mystery until someone tears the console apart to see its innards. Nintendo is high on gameplay and downplays things like graphics so it is entirely possibly that we will have to wait until after launch to hear about its graphical and computing processing power.
