Video Game clichés are something that we love to hate and hate to love. Read up to see what clichés can be found in your games!
The Best Podcast on the Citadel, Epsiode 27
Happy holidays everybody! The Best Podcast on the Citadel is here to break down all the goings-on in the world of video games, and as the year winds down to a close, it’s time to have the age old discussion that always seems to come around about this time: the game of the year. While we at Leviathyn have already put together our site-wide list, we thought we would put the personal touch on and invite in some writers to discuss their own top games of the year. Hosts Chris Mrkvicka and I are joined by writers Christian Belland and Chris Kochon who talk about some of the more interesting titles released this year, our own honorable mentions and finally our top games of the year. A good time is had by all.
As we often see around this time of year, the news front dries up a bit as people enjoy the holidays and all of their awesome game purchases. One noteworthy story this week is the news that Telltale has inked a deal to create a game based on Minecraft. Oh Telltale, what will you think of next? We attack that question head on, and discuss what other properties would be ripe for Telltale to apply their signature formula to. Some of the answers may surprise you.
As always, we would love to hear your feedback on this week’s episodes, including your own game of the year picks, so leave us a comment. We hope you guys enjoy your holidays, and we will talk to you next year on The Best Podcast on the Citadel!
