Don’t Starve: Giant Edition Coming to the PS Vita Next Month
The Playstation Vita is getting another great game added to its library. Indie game Don’t Starve is coming to the Playstation Vita in a special bundle called “The Giant Edition.” According to a post on the Playstation Blog by Jamie Cheng, founder of Klei Entertainment, Don’t Starve: The Giant Edition will cost $14.99 US and will include the Reign of Giants expansion pack. The port of the game will be released on Sept. 2.
Don’t Starve: The Giant Edition will not support cross-play with the PS4 version of the game however, the Vita version will be available for free to anyone who owns a PS4 version of the game. The port will also come with an extra save slot due to player demand.
Don’t Starve is an action-adventure game with elements of survival and rogue-like features such as permanent death and high difficulty. The game was released in 2013 on Steam with the PS4 port being released in January of this year. The game was influenced by Minecraft and the visual style of Tim Burton and sold over a million copies last year.
