Sega CEO Hajime Satomi says he wants to improve the quality of their games moving forward. That could mean a lot of things. It's nice to hear, but what they do next with their games is the real answer.
Ubisoft Hopes To Sell More Than 6 Million Copies Of Watch Dogs
Ubisoft is hoping to sell 6.3 million units of its upcoming game Watch Dogs. The number was shared by CEO Yves Guillemont during a company conference call. He says that this number is based on the success of their other major franchise, Assassins Creed, whose first title was a surprise hit for the company. The Assassins Creed franchise has went on to sell 73 million units worldwide.
Watch Dogs is set to release on May 27th, after months of hype and delays. It is set to release on five consoles, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, and PC with a Wii U version confirmed to be coming at a later date. With such a large install base to sell too, Ubisoft’s ambitious goal might not be that unreachable.
