The Walking Dead Coming to PS4 and Xbox One
Telltale Games’ The Walking Dead will be coming to next-gen consoles later this Spring. Gamestop has listed Playstation 4 and Xbox One ports of The Walking Dead: Game of the Year Edition. According to the website, both ports are priced at $29.99 and will hit shelves on June 17. The listing doesn’t indicate whether the next-gen ports will be getting a graphical update similar to other next-gen ports such as The Last of Us Remastered and Tomb Raider: The Definitive Edition.
The release date falls on a Tuesday, which is a common release day for video games in North America. This is also the same day of the week that Sony updates the Playstation Store, which may indicate a digital release.
The Walking Dead: Game of the Year Edition was previously released in Nov. 2013 for the Playstation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. It contains all five episodes from the first season of Telltale Games’ adventure game and also includes the 400 Days DLC.
