Sega CEO Hajime Satomi says he wants to improve the quality of their games moving forward. That could mean a lot of things. It's nice to hear, but what they do next with their games is the real answer.
Blizzard Selling Upgrades To World of Warcraft Players Before Draenor
On Jan 16, it was announced on the World of Warcraft website that Blizzard is going to be testing the ability to purchase level 90 character upgrades. The test will begin on PTR and will likely be available before the launch of Warlords of Draenor, due out sometime this year.
They also announced that the character upgrade will be available as soon as a person preorders World of Warcraft Warlords of Draenor. This will give players the ability to level-boost a new character and get accustomed to a new class play style before getting into Draenor. The pre-purchase will be available, according to Blizzard, Soon™.
Blizzard also reminds players in its post to opt in for beta invites. Blizzard has a full set of instructions on completing this process on their website. The player will have to complete a system scan that reports the hardware specs to Blizzard, so they can collect an even look at different equipment and how it handles the game.
