Now that Club Nintendo is closing its doors, it's safe to wonder if this will be the end of the physical reward system. We go over a brief history of some of the rewards granted to gamers from Nintendo Power strategy guides to soundtracks and weigh it against the digitized reward systems.
Fable Trilogy Confirmed, Set For February Release
A Fable Trilogy listing appeared on the Xbox Marketplace, and was then confirmed by Microsoft. The collection will include the upcoming remake of the first Fable, Fable Anniversary, alongside Fable 2 and 3. It’s set for a February 7 release.
The listing noted that this collection “offers these games together at a discounted rate over individual purchases.” Also to note, there’ll be no enchantments made for Fable 2 and 3. Microsoft explained that all of the games available in the bundle can be downloaded individually, and are all the same.
Microsoft provided the following statement to Eurogamer: “The Fable Trilogy bundle in the Xbox Marketplace is real and in development. The bundle will include full Xbox 360 titles for Fable Anniversary, Fable 2, and Fable 3. We’re excited to share official details regarding the release soon on Lionhead.com.”
However, Microsoft failed to mention if the bundle includes all of the DLC ever released for Fable 2 and 3, and the exact pricing for this collection. But it’ll be more than likely that the bundle would include all of the additional content, and would come out cheaper compared to buying all three games individually.
