Sega CEO Hajime Satomi says he wants to improve the quality of their games moving forward. That could mean a lot of things. It's nice to hear, but what they do next with their games is the real answer.
Gran Turismo 6’s “Framework” Under Development
Sony Computer Entertainment’s Kazunori Yamauchi has revealed that he’s been looking at the “framework” of Gran Turismo 6 since its predecessor launched at the China Joy event in Beijing this week.
Impress Watch (via Andriasang) reports that Yamauchi answered some questions about Gran Turismo 6 at the event saying “[Polyphony Digital’s] always aiming for the latest technology and the latest expression.”
Yamauchi went on to speculate about a Vita version of the hit PlayStation franchise: “if we were to make it, we’d like to make use of the ability to play anywhere and the ability to use 3G at any time.”
He also fielded a question on allowing gamers to mod Gran Turismo 5 commenting that “if we can find a good balance, we’d like to increase the areas where users can make modifications.”
