Xbox 360 Games With Gold Users Can Now Reserve Xbox One Games

If you’re an Xbox 360 owner planning on eventually jumping to the Xbox One, and you have an active Xbox Live Gold account, you can get an early start on your game collection for free. According to Major Nelson’s Blog, Xbox 360 users can now go ahead and reserve any of the Xbox One monthly freebies they come across, directly from their console. Beforehand, Xbox 360 users could claim the Xbox One free games from a PC only; this adds a level of convenience while at the same time raising awareness for the Xbox One offerings for Games With Gold.

This month, the two free games offered to Xbox One users are Rayman Legends and #IDARB, while Xbox 360 Games with Gold users can claim two fantastic games in BioShock Infinite and the 2013 Tomb Raider reboot.

While an active Xbox Live Gold subscription is needed to keep access to any Xbox One games you download through the Games With Gold program, Xbox 360 games downloaded are yours to keep, permanently.
