Square Enix's decision to split Final Fantasy VII Remake into multiple installments may harm the game for one big reason.
The Last of Us DLC is called The Last of Us: Left Behind, And it Stars Ellie
The Last of Us featured one of the best single player campaigns in 2013, and it’s getting some additional story mode DLC. Naughty Dog announced that The Last of Us DLC is called The Last of Us: Left Behind, and dropped a small teaser to boot.
Left Behind is a prequel that stars Ellie when she was in the Boston quarantine zone. She’s being accompanied by her friend Riley, who can be seen in the trailer.
The Last of Us had a comic titled The Last of Us: American Dreams that showed the beginnings of Riley and Ellie’s relationship. The DLC will expand upon that companionship and how it evolved, similar to how Joel and Ellie’s journey transformed throughout the main campaign.
Left Behind is coming out in early 2014 for $15. If you buy the season pass for $20, then all of the DLC (including the multiplayer DLC) will be available for free.
