Rayman Legends on the Vita has Missing Content
People looking to buy Rayman Legends on the Vita may want to think twice before making the purchase. The Vita version of Ubisoft’s colorful 2-D platformer is apparently missing the Invasion Mode levels. The missing content will be added through a patch at a later date, although no specific date has been confirmed.
Ubisoft’s communications manager Gary Steinman elaborated on why the Vita version was missing this content. “Due to a longer development time than expected, we couldn’t initially include the Invasion Mode–essentially, a second take on existing Rayman Legends maps–in the Vita version of the game,” he said. “However, we can confirm that the Invasion Mode will be added via a free patch, at a later date.”
As the follow up to Rayman Origins, Rayman Legends has garnered critical acclaim. People have praised its vibrant and creative art style, along with its challenging 2-D platforming. Some have considered the touch feature to be a great addition to the game, saying that the touch levels are unique and creative. Hopefully the Vita patch will come soon so that Vita owners won’t be missing a chunk of the content for too long.
Rayman Legends came out September 3rd for the PC, PS3, Vita, Wii U, and Xbox 360.
