Sometimes it's fun to revisit some old last gen titles that may have been forgotten. This list consists of a few that I still enjoy today.
Get Your First Taste of Fuse Next Week
Electronic Arts and developer Insomniac Games have announced that a digital demo for the upcoming co-op third-person shooter Fuse will be available on Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network starting May 7th.
In the demo, players will “play online cooperatively with up to four players, or in a 2-player split-screen.” It should be noted that an internet connection and an Origin account will be required in order to play the demo to its fullest extent.
Throughout the demo, players will be able to take on the role of one of four characters in Dalton Brooks, Izzy Sinclair, Jacob Kimble and Naya Deveraux. See the press release description of the demo/game synopsis below:
“These special agents are out to protect mankind from Fuse, a deadly alien energy source which has been stolen by the rogue paramilitary organization, Raven. Each of the characters delivers a unique gameplay experience, as they have their own individual and unique “Xenotech” weapon and specialized skills. Players will use these abilities as they track down the Fuse source in a snowy secret weapon depot.”
Insomniac Games’ CEO Ted Price had this to say about Fuse:
“Fuse takes four player co-op in a new direction with features you won’t find in other third person shooters: from LEAP where you can jump between each of the four unique agents at will to the experimental Xenotech weapons to the deep RPG-like character progression system. And by the way, all of these features rock for solo players as well. Join us in this brand new universe for a quintessential Insomniac Games experience.”
Insomniac Games is the developer behind the beloved PlayStation exclusive Ratchet and Clank series and the console-based Resistance games. Fuse is their first multi-platform release and will be releasing on both the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 on May 28th.
