Sometimes it's fun to revisit some old last gen titles that may have been forgotten. This list consists of a few that I still enjoy today.
Gears of War: Judgment Call To Arms Map Pack Synopsis
Gears of War: Judgment will be getting its second map pack, which explores the ‘dark side of the Gears Universe’. It adds 3 new map pack and a new multiplayer mode, called “Master at Arms.”
Microsoft and Epic Games are proud to announce that the second expansion, the Call To Arms Map Pack, will be coming to Season Pass holders on Tuesday 23rd April via Xbox Live, and will be available worldwide to download on 30th April. As well as the 3 new maps and the new multiplayer mode, players will be getting 6 new armor and gun skins (and that means lots more customization).
The 3 new maps are set against the backdrop of the Locust invasion of Halvo Bay, and provide a mix of close quarters and vertical combat. For the achievement hunters out there, the new map pack will contain 10 new achievements with a total of 250 Gamerscore.
Let’s have a quick look at the 3 new maps you’ll be getting:
– Terminal: The locust spared no mercy with the speed and ferocity of their invasion, leaving no ground safe, including this train terminal. They sweep through and slaughter any humans silly enough to try and use it as cover, whether COG forces or innocent people.
– Blood Drive: As casualties started to mount, people flocked to the hospitals to do what they could to help. Even something as simple as a Blood Drive was a life saving thing. However instead of being the sanctuary people hoped for, this turned into a battlefield.
– Boneyard: Memorial grounds quickly became boneyards, with traditional memorials no longer possible. Unmarked holes became grave sites and mausoleums are quickly filled with the nameless dead.
As well as these players will be receiving “Master at Arms“, the new free-for-all multiplayer mode. The goal here is to get a kill with each of the 20 different weapons, putting your Gears of War: Judgment mastery to the test. You’re not allowed to resort to melee or grenade tactics either. Each successful kill advances you to the next available weapon until you’ve done them all and proven yourself as the true Master at Arms.
The Call to Arms Map Pack will be available for 1000 Microsoft Points on Xbox LIVE. Players who have the Gears of War: Judgment VIP Season Pass will receive the pack early and you’ll get a 25% saving across all of the new DLC packs (as opposed to buying them separate). Remember that all the DLC packs need the original game to run, so you will need Gears of War: Judgment to play this pack.
This could be quite a good thing for Gears of War: Judgment as it has been receiving mixed reviews since its release. And to be honest, who doesn’t like killing people in horrific ways on video games?
