Square Enix's decision to split Final Fantasy VII Remake into multiple installments may harm the game for one big reason.
Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII-3 Gets A Trailer
A new trailer for Square Enix’s upcoming Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII-3 was released early this morning on GameTrailers.com before being taken down. But of course, it managed to find its way on to YouTube before getting axed.
It looks to bring back Lightning, one of the main protagonists of the XIII series. The story revolves around a religious and albeit superstitious town whose God doesn’t look too kindly on those who don’t follow the teachings. Also, the world ends in 13 days…so, no pressure.
From what we’ve seen in this trailer, the world looks a lot more open than that of XIII, with a new combat system and a heavier emphasis on platforming.
